Have loads planned for this weekend. Am at Larkin's McDonalds while blogging this. Come to think of it, I was at Mac's yesterday too - West Coast Park... loved the place. Yeah, it's the ambience thingy.
Just let mom and aunts out to do their own marketing. Since gramps is not with us today, it should be slightly faster. So while they do the shoppe, I tap on Mac's WIFI to do this post.
Life has been good to me. In fact its been surprisingly good and just on Thu got an sms saying they got my CV from someone for a SysAdmin job. It's an oil and energy company. It was enticing considering the bonuses that they pay might push me off my debts haha but then again, that has not been established yet how much they are willing to pay. Then I looked at the JD... and it occurred to me that it might be a position that will make me busy all over again. That was something I was not willing to take given the big space I have at the current job.
The pushing element for me to that new opening was it is a big corporation and I would gain to benefit from that in terms of experience of handling the IT aspects. Then also it is based in Aussie and globally they have their prescence made me think of the possibility of going overseas for work. So other than the might-be-booms paycheck, those were the points that were pushing me. Not forgetting I just found out it was on a 4.5days work week....
The drawbacks though... like I said, might be too busy hence no time for school. The current job is a quite slow haha and therefore I can afford to juggle work and think of school.
But the thing is current job is stagnant... it being a charitable organisation (with civil service bonuses), their emphasis on IT was more of need to instead of want to. So instead of IT being the complementing factor, it was more of we-have-no-choice factor. Hence, it is not up to par to industry standards. But it might be a permanent job and secure as long as there is still a need for the main business. Hehe.
Oh well... so I passed this on to my friend and hopefully he can get it and stick to this job and make loadsa money and settle his financial issues, be a better person and make a difference to the community. Haha... How noble my intentions eh?
Missed one train... But it might not be for me. Hopefully as I accomplish my degree, more trains will stop by for me to ride on.
Gday everyone. Shall blog again when I chillout.
